Before we can build our brewery & distillery & foodery, we need to un-build the sausage factory that preceded us. So:
Vestibule? What vestibule?
The entry vestibule, with its massive sliding door and air curtains, is right in the middle of my planned brewery floor plan. Skip and I got out the shovels and pickaxes and implements of destruction, and turned it into hash. Across from that is the only staircase to the second floor, which needs to be rebuilt to modern code specs.
I don’t like the way that wall’s lookin’ at me

All of the walls are built out from the original glazed tile and filled with fiberglass batt insulation, which we’re stripping. We’re trying to get as much demolition done as possible before our contractor moves in, to save time and money. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy marinating in fiberglass every day?
