Brewery Takeover Thingy
September 29, 2023

Late post, here… Well, the Full Haus beer dinner went OK. There were a few coordination headaches up front, and a bit of last minute scrambling, but everything went smoothly on the night. Most of the cooking and prep took place at Mario’s French Toast Bistro, with heating/plating happening in the LH5 kitchen. The best part of it was simply that we got to execute a food and drink plan, after 2+ years of excitedly talking about beer & food things we’d like to do, every time we’re together. And I have to say, we nailed the dishes and the pairings. We can’t wait until construction is done, and this is our main job again. Here’s what the menu looked like:

This event was also an excuse for Jamie and me to crank out some beer on his 1/2 barrel SABCO pilot system. Many thanks to our friends at Lagerhaus for everything!
